I haven’t posted to this since the lockdown began. I thought I would have more time to do the things I liked but sadly it didn’t turn out that way. I have been learning a bit of C++ by doing a course that I’ve almost completed. Some people suggested that C++ is a bit outdated because there are other more dumbed down programming languages that can be used for more rapid application developement. I disagree with that, because c++ is closer to the metal and covers more types of hardware due to it being abled to compile direct into machine code. A lot of big applications still use C++
I do plan to go back to my C# learning at some stage because I think it’s important to know some rapid app development languages too, but I also want to really advance my database skills by the end of the year.
It has been a weird spring, but I’m still determined to improve my coding abilities.
